1. The Service
Portex is an Assisted Purchase platform for customers in the United Kingdom. You send us a product link from a supported source country (USA or China); we review, quote, purchase on your behalf, inspect, and deliver it to your UK address. Portex does not sell its own products and does not operate as a general parcel-forwarding service in this version.
2. Accounts
A registered account is required for every order. There is no guest checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Order Rules
Each order must contain products from a single source country and a single website, up to 5 different products, with a maximum of 3 units per product. Orders that do not meet these rules will not be accepted.
4. Estimates & Final Quotes
The cost shown while submitting an order is a preliminary Estimate only. Our Review Department verifies the order and issues a Final Quote, valid for 24 hours. Once paid within that window, the Final Total is guaranteed regardless of subsequent changes in shipping, customs or tax costs.
5. Prohibited Items
We do not accept orders for restricted categories including but not limited to medicines, supplements, medical devices, weapons, flammable liquids, perfumes, loose batteries, chemicals, food, tobacco/vapes, adult products, counterfeit goods, and oversized/heavy items. Our Review Department retains full discretion to reject any product.
6. Payments
All prices are quoted and charged in USD. Available payment methods are PayPal and Bank Transfer, with Card payments planned for a future release. Bank Transfer orders move to "Payment Pending Verification" until our Finance team confirms receipt.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel for a full refund before we purchase the product. After purchase, cancellation is subject to the original supplier's policy, and non-refundable costs may be deducted.
8. Customer Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your product selections, including size, color, model, quantity and compatibility. Portex is not liable for a customer's incorrect choice, though eligible returns to the original supplier can still be requested.
9. Delivery & Delays
An estimated delivery window is confirmed before payment. Compensation for excessive delays is assessed case by case and may, in serious cases, extend up to the full order value.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
